Boy do I have a funny story to tell you.
Why is Chinese ai more of a threat? Is the Chinese ai causing mass layoffs at American companies? Is China building ai data centers in our neighborhoods? Is Chinese ai being corn holed into every piece of software im using and making it worse by every metric?
Because it’s substantially cheaper and more efficient and thus threatens the wealth and power of the western tech-lord class.
Yeah, USA tech bros went all-in on AI so the last thing they can use right now it’s China showing they have a better hand.

Chinese AI is a threat in the sense that unlike the US, China is refusing to barrel head-long into a market bubble collapse that will trigger a second great depression.

Okay but why does it have to be Chinese genAI when it could be… and OpenAI is teaming up to spout racism while also spreading the facist machine.
I may not like the Chinese government, but even I know genAIon its own, regardless of who it comes from, is the real issue.
