When those forces are clearly going to be used to further the ally’s imperialism it’s an immoral act (imperialism doesn’t become better when it’s “in the name of friendship”), but also that’s not what I said. I said letting Trump use the bases for his war against Iran was a mistake, since it brought Iran’s anger on them. They could’ve refused like Spain and Italy did.
