Well, yes. No offence to anyone, but vast majority of Americans are a problem wherever they go. Not due to any fault of their own, of course. I’m sure I’d be just as much of a problem if I was born and raised in the US.

I’ve traveled internationally plenty, used to do it for work, and I never had a problem wherever I went.
