I hate where USA is now, but so do many Americans, and I bet a good portion of the upvotes to this very US critical post, was actually Americans upvoting it. Because many Americans understand the problems.
You are probably right regarding the MAGA crowd however.
As many of us that understand the problem, there is a white supremacist culture in the southern states invested in oligarchy that act as a rope around our collective necks. idk how to fix it but we cant do anything when they control the senate and through a mix of gerrymander and well funded propaganda networks, the house.
There absolutely is, and they have a sick sense of entitlement, as if they inherited and own the country, contrary to everyone else, who are merely allowed to be there.
I am not American, but from the outside there seems to be a sick level of such thinking. By the same “logic”, the 1% is entitled to their wealth I guess. That is really what they mean by taking the country back. That the ruling class is highest, white people are part of that, and everybody else is below them.
