Lemmy Deep Lighthouse

I built a Firefox extension to help people bring their own Reddit posts over to Lemmy.

It lets you map subreddits you post in to Lemmy communities, review queued posts before publishing, and post through your own Lemmy account. Settings and credentials stay in your browser; there is no hosted service.

This is intended for republishing your own work, not scraping or reposting other people’s content. The goal is to make moving from Reddit to Lemmy less tedious while keeping authors in control.

You must be the first user from literature.cafe to visit. Our Lemmy/Mbin/PieFed conglomeration here tries to make posts visible to your instance via federation. Since nobody from your instance is subscribed to Floating Is Fun, your instance never received those posts. Now that you’re here, any future posts should show up.

To see older posts, view Floating Is Fun from another instance that’s been subscribed longer, like from lemmy.world or from feddit.online. You could also view it from fedia.io and see everything, but that instance requires an account to browse. We tried to avoid that, but the Kbin code base is cursed.
