Good point. They’re not stupid though. Many Russians have had a taste of better life and don’t want to lose it, but the country itself is holding a gun to its own head (pretty sure there’s a name for that game).
As long as they maintain the same core values of cheating, lying, stealing, killing, etc, the bright minds won’t overcome the dark hearts.
