I’m not a political person but I’ve noticed that for example Reddit has a more left leaning moderation in comparison to what X (Twitter) is.
For example, if someone does hate speech against LGBT people on X and you report them the moderation team will tell you that the content didn’t break the rules and guidelines, but if you as an LGBT person answer to the homophobic conservatives with the same energy you’ll get a 24 hours suspension from posting or interacting.
I’ve personally experienced this many times and it’s making me so annoyed specially since there’s huge accounts on X that are dedicated to spread extreme hate even wishing death on other people.

Nobody refers to the political philosophy of national socialism when they call someone a Nazi.
When someone gets called a Nazi, it refers to nationalistic, racist and faschist ideals and/or behaviour. You know, the stuff that was actually portrayed by the Nazis, rather than a political philosophy they named themselves for.
So they aren’t National Socialists. I doubt t most people actually even know want a National Socialists actually even follows in policy outside memes.
Just a label that gets throw around just to antagonize anyone who disagrees with them. No wonder the term seems to be getting watered down. I see people calling everyone right of them a Nazi, these days.
Nationalism on its own is not a Nazi only trait. Everyone who knows history know that is vague. North Korea, China and The Soviet Union/Russia today are highly and extremely Nationalistic, are they National Socialists? In top of this, I do not know if you have travelled but Chinese people are among the most racist people I ever met. Remember when Disney has to hide Flynn’s picture from the Star Wars posters or when they covered the face of Black Panther from their posters too?
Facism comes straight out of Marxism. Literally the father of Facism Giovanni Gentile defined it as Marxism + Nationalism. Where people are white canvases and the State gets to turn them into National Socialists via school and indoctrination. The only differences between National Socialists and “International Socialists” aka: Socialists, is that regard ks the Socialists/Comminists in practice want to seize the means of production while the NS want to not own it, but to dominate it via policy to the point that they’re essentially one and the same. There is a lot of other overlaping things too.
If we were to take that last point then the USA has been slowly leaning into Facism for the last quarter of acentury at least, moving forth regardless if the president was on the Left or the Right. So both sides are ever closer to Facism. If we are objective.
