Trump’s second campaign was literally ‘I’ll overthrow the government if I have to, I’ll deport all the immigrants, I’ll be a dictator from day one’. I’d say anyone that then spends every waking moment and a significant amount of their own money is at least well on the way to being a fascist.
Agreed it makes him an accomplice to fascism inasmuch as hopping on the bandwagon and materially supporting for self-enrichment. I wouldn’t object to people saying that makes him straight-up fascist; it’s a close call for me, where he doesn’t give a shit about the fascist ideology itself and cares exclusively about money, but that’s still doing a fascism™ at the end of the day.

There are many, many alarming parallels between what the Trump administration is doing and what the Nazi party did to gain power, so it’s not exactly baseless to call him one.
