A second United States Air Force combat aircraft crashed in the Persian Gulf region on Friday as rescue teams continued searching for a missing crew member from a downed F-15E Strike Eagle, according to two U.S. officials cited by The New York Times.

The second aircraft, an A-10 Thunderbolt II, went down near the Strait of Hormuz, and its pilot was safely rescued, the officials said.

The crash occurred around the same time that an F-15E was shot down over Iran, where one crew member has already been recovered and search teams continue looking for the second.

Mate. You were in Afghanistan for 20 years at a cost of 2.6 trillion and left it in worse shape with the same people in charge that you went in to overthrow, but with more hatred against the U.S. and the other western nations that helped.

    https://amarkfoundation.org/reports/afghanistan-war-costs/

Iran’s had 50 years to also prepare and is waiting for Americans.

A Patriot missile costs $4 million to shoot. A shaed drone cost between 10-30k. So far American might has proven pretty unsuccessful at stopping these drones overall.

What are boots on the ground going to do against cheap but destructive warfare when hundreds are launched at the same time at the same target, which in this case are human beings?

American simply doesn’t have the tech to stop this type of attack. These things fly under the radar and have 1 single purpose: To kill. So far, they’ve proven effective. Just ask Ukraine.

Look at the Israeli iron dome. It’s becoming harder to stop the barrage of attacks from the drones, cluster and ballistic missiles Iran is throwing at them.

These types of systems are good for periodic attacks but you quickly run out of ammo fighting them, hence the U.S. pulling military ammo and weapons from places such as South Korea.

I think you’re really romanticizing the capability of American warfare here.

I’m neither with Iran or the U.S. in its current state both countries suck and both need new governments.

However I fucking seriously despise the U.S. at this moment in time. I can’t wait for the Trump regime to die, but America has dug such a hole that not a single other country is coming to their aid.

I think America is in for a big shock when they start moving grunts to the forefront. It’s not going to be pretty for them. Hopefully you and or your kids are not within a draft able age, because it’s most likely coming if you see what they’re doing with increasing the age of eligibility.

There’s a quote from a song by one of my favourite bands (bad religion) that I grew up listening to from my days when it was the gulf war:

“God, I know that it’s wrong To kill my brother for what he hasn’t done. And as the planes blacken the sky. It sounds like heaven is falling.

God I want to be a man, but I won’t want to die with a rifle in my hand. And as the planes blacken the sky it sounds like heaven is falling. “

All this death, because a corrupt rapist doesn’t want those Epstein files released, and a failed TV host is a bootlicker who also wants to kill as many people as possible, even if it’s Americans.

I mean, you didn’t address anything i said. You don’t understand what “real wars” are. Afghanistan was not a war and there was no way to win, hence any comparison you use to it is rediculous.

What are those drones or those defenses going to do about an naval artillery bombardment? Not high tech missiles, just straight shells hundreds of miles away?

I’m not a fan of either nation at the moment. You are just romanticizing anti America sentiment, which, you do you boo, I disluke them at the moment too.

I’m also going to ignore the Afghanistan in worse shape sentiment. If you think women shouldn’t go to school, be heard or be seen, you are not even worth having a discussion with.

“but America has dug such a hole that not a single other country is coming to their aid.” I mean, we are their with Israel. Not that I like them out agree with what they are doing. But that is a single other country.

" Hopefully you and or your kids are not within a draft able age, because it’s most likely coming if you see what they’re doing with increasing the age of eligibility."

This conflict with Iran would not require a draft by any means. Why would you think it would? Iran reportedly has 610k active duty personnel, while America has 1.33-1.34 million active duty personnel. With the arguable American military tech advantage, if this went to a real war, how? How do you think Iran would destroy them?
