    She’s determined that new experiences and memories are more valuable than things.

    Not blowing money on things you don’t need like overpriced toys (over $100) sounds logical to me.

    Meanwhile, that boat he’s maintaining? He’s telling himself that’s an investment he’s going to sell some day to justify the guilt over the expense but he surely won’t.

    I have enough money for the things they’re doing but it doesn’t appeal to me. Comparison is the thief of joy. Quite happy in my own little life here doing road trips in Pac NW and enjoying the outdoors, biking, hiking and kayaking.
