It does. It’s such an abrupt about-face that I can see why everyone initially thought it was staged. It’s like a gazelle turning round and headbutting a chasing lion or something. Maybe he just received a terminal diagnosis and thought ‘fuck it’?
I was thinking rather of hyenas circling a lion, each one nipping at a heel, a tail, an ear, none quite confident enough yet to bum rush the fucker all at once… Except they’re all just hamsters… Nasty, evil little fucking hamsters, ready to rip each other to shreds 🐹
