    I’m sure the average keyboard warrior will be able to engage in those tactics effectively if it comes to that. And I’m sure that wouldn’t just result in even worse devastation on a far greater scale.

    Regardless, at least we seem to agree that we should wait and see how midterms play out before taking any drastic measures…

        Can you elaborate on what you mean by that? Are you suggesting that the above commenter, or someone else online, signed up for the Ukrainian Foreign Legion and has been honorably serving to repel the russian invasion?

        Cause if so, good on them. But that doesn’t exactly change the dynamic in the US. Ukrainian forces are centrally organized, with material support and intelligence sharing from a coalition of western allies. They have military-grade hardware, even though the US has been trying to reduce their supply. The reduction of which has been shown to have resulted in tactical and strategic setbacks.

        There’s no chance of the same situation applying in the US, where there would also be no clear frontline but rather a protracted insurgency, rather than conventional warfare between two sovereign state actors.
