    The weekend in Iran is Thursday and Friday. Saturday is the first day of the week

    I didn’t know that. Why is that? Something about religious beliefs?

    It is the information in the article, which I don’t doubt (including workweek). That bit is not part of the message to provoke an emotional reaction during wartime.

    I wouldn’t have thought that the situation is so positive, education-wise. In that regard I was quite uneducated, you are right.
