IRC XDCC servers have similar content to many torrent sites, but unlike torrents you don’t seed, just download. You can also automate downloading, see !help in any channel.

General Rules:

  • If you don’t know something ask, there are many people at any given time who will help.
  • Having multiple nicknames on same account is allowed, as long as not abused.
  • If you have a server you can ask to run a xdcc bots in the channels.
  • Never try to randomly pm’ing someone, especially if you are new and don’t know anyone.
  • Never try to spam/scam/trolll youll get banned faster than you can blink.
  • Never create and use multiple accounts to do requests, youll get banned.
  • It is highly recommended that you register your nick and use SASL authentication.

IRC Commands:

  • User: /nick YourNick
  • Register: /msg NickServ REGISTER YourPassword YourEmail
  • Identify: /msg NickServ IDENTIFY YourPassword

  • !help - for all commands available.
  • !search or !s - to find any release.

      Thanks. I built it mostly for subsplease anime releases and just recently learned that there are actual search engines for this, so I’m currently looking into adding an option to integrate search engines of choice

          I’m looking more for a generic approach, so users can register any search engine of their choice (as long as it returns a json result set I guess)
