    besides the lack of consequences for the actions in the moment is the lack of consequences after the fact… if they knew that sooner or later ppl would be going after the perpetrators a lot of shit in the world wouldn’t happen

      I imagine so. They knew they had allies before the genocide, which speaks volumes about the world leaders today.

        Exactly… I’m always in favor of diplomacy but the moment israel started leveling gaza they should have suffered consequences like russia and now after all the israel government did (and is still doing) they should be “put in the corner” of the world class. Revoke their ww2 “victim card”, loose all good will and be seen as barbarians

          Completely agree.

          Israel — and the world leaders for that matter — knew Israel could and would and did play the antisemitism card, and played it hard. But screw that, bad behavior should be recognized as bad behavior, and we can no longer afford to be afraid to call it out.
