Billionaire philanthropist Melinda French Gates has said her ex-husband, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, being named in new files relating to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein dredged up “painful times in my marriage”.

She told an NPR podcast she feels “unbelievable sadness” about the Epstein allegations and that the people named in the records, including her former husband, need to answer to it.

“I am so happy to be away from all the muck,” she said. The couple divorced in 2021 after 27 years of marriage.

Records released by the US justice department include an allegation by Epstein that Bill Gates caught a sexually transmitted disease. He has called the claim “absolutely absurd”.

    You’ve never died either…

If you think that means you’re immortal, than you have consistent logic, but none of us should be listening to you…

The rules apply to them, it’s just no one is enforcing them. And since the oligarchs lost the DNC last year when the voting members finally picked a non-neoliberal chair, there’s not going to be anyone that can stop a progressive Dem from winning the primary, then the general, then actually enforcing the rules on the oligarchs

If you’ve never died, does that make you immortal…that’s the wrong thought exercise.

The rules apply to them, it’s just no one is enforcing them.

This is more like “a tree falls in the forest”.

If the rules aren’t enforced against them, then they absolutely do not apply to them.

This is a serious problem, when all three branches of government, are occupied by the trees. They need to be shown consequence, and it may have to be by hatchet, axe, and saw.

It’s cute that you think we will have elections in November, or that they will be free and fair.

It’s not really a pedantic thing, but it kind of is.

The rules apply, if they didn’t they wouldn’t still give a fuck. They’d be having Epstein parties on the South lawn for everyone to see. If for no other reason than doing it in the open is more extreme than doing it in secret.

Currently consequences do not apply, because they’re not being held accountable.

But the rules do, or else they wouldn’t be hiding it. You think it’s shame that’s keeping trump from admitting all this shit? He’s afraid because there’s still a chance that consequences could show up, because the rules do still apply. They’re just not being enforced at this moment in time that’s not as long and ending as you seem to believe

        It’s cute

        Sorry, not interested.

The rules apply to them, it’s just no one is enforcing them.

      That’s a distinction without a difference.
