An LGBT group that advocates for a country that executes LGBT people, or even just people suspected of being queer. It was a very depressing double take.

That was years ago. Now, little surprises me. Humans are idiots and are extremely shortsighted when it comes to climate change and politics. It will be interesting to see if we can salvage things before there is a large scale ecosystem collapse.
