    While having a solid feature set, this SKU is really “more affordable” on a relative basis. It will probably work out to around €1,000 in Europe. Not a price for routers (even a mesh kit) that I associated with the word “affordable”.

      It’s missing the 10gb backhaul that it’s more expensive brothers have, which would be important if you are looking to max out a mesh arrangement that it’s 6ghz band is capable of.

      I have three XT8s connected via the 2.5gb backhaul and they have been rock solid for me. I can achieve around 1gbps from most locations in my house. I only use them as APs, really don’t rate the routet part at all. Longer term, I will upgrade them to the wifi 8 versions when they show up in a few years.

      10gb is essential to me if you are spending this amount expecting top of the line performance. I don’t see the point of spending this amount for a mesh setup and then losing the best wifi band to backhaul or crippling it with a slower wired connection.
