[Half Life 3 (HL3) doesn’t count as we already know that game is still a long way off from coming out. Like another 5 or more years.]
My relatively obscure and hopeless choice is Golden Sun 4
Ooh I have another one! Steamland, the game of my childhood. RTS with trains. Would be very cool if it had a sequel.
Before the release of DA veilguard, my answer would be Mass Effect 4. Now I’m not so sure.
Smugglers Run - Good premise. I think it could be great with the right modern touches.
Tenchu: Stealth Assassins - I know Sekiro started that way but I’d like a legit sequel with legit developed mechanics/story from the originals.
MTV Music Generator/Music 2000 - I think the multiplayer Jam Mode was ahead of its time, and someone should revisit that aspect in a modern mindset.
Portal
Portal, please
Honestly every valve IP
Maybe not tf3 though, perhaps instead if it was a complete rewrite of tf2 and engine port that fixed all the jank
I guess death stranding
At least that one is confirmed
I’m not exactly expecting a sequel, but something in the Freelancer universe. Best spaceflight-ship-action combat game ever made, but never got the love it deserves… Even the story was good and entertaining.
Today all X3 spaceflight-ship are either a pain in the ass where you have to be an engineer to even get started, or need to grind 1000 hours to even begin to have “fun”. I miss freelancer’s simplicity and space fights…
