I wish I had enough money to build a factory in the USA. Instead I’m here struggling with the weekly increase in my grocery bill.

Just like Gen Z fucked up by being in elementary school or even diapers instead of buying property in 2008. You’ve goofed by not building factories instead of eating, where’s your grind mentality?

I could hear a handful of podcasts out there saying this unironically. Society is cooked

Excuse me, I need to go yell at my mother’s urn for not leaving me generational wealth. That bitch ruined everything.

Funny word, “grocery”. A bit older, but some people still use it.

I don’t understand. I think it’s still used pretty widely. There is a chain called “grocery outlet” here in the northeast.

It’s a reference to Trump going on about “groceries” - repeatedly. I think Jon Stewart had a bit on it.

They’re probably going to try spinning it as China being scared (because their number is lower than Trump’s number) but I think China is probably just flexing. confident they don’t need to go any harder for the US to destroy itself

I’m actually curious what they even import from the US that they can’t find elsewhere or make themselves.
I’m wearing NB bought in a NB shop in Wuhan at European prices and they’re… made in Indonesia. I’m guessing it’s gonna be some really unique luxury shit like alcohol? Or cars? So nothing that’s gonna affect Chinese people significantly, except perhaps to send them shopping in the EU and reinforce the Belt and Road and the railway connection with Europe (well, if Putin doesn’t fuck things up. That’s another story)
