      Not to be overly pedantic, but this is more export control which is somewhat common for strategic products. Many countries, not just China, can’t buy F35s.

        Mule momma certainly has a hard time getting the whole F35 up there, 10mm2 dies on the other hand

        Yes, but F35s are implements of war, they have essentially no other civilian purpose. Advanced semi conductors, on the other hand, do.

    The devil is going to be in the details. Even with a quota system, it may difficult to control distribution unless there are legal requirements around who the final end user can be.
